Dear NCSY GIVE Parents,
Whoa. What an incredible experience we had over shabbos in Tzfat! The holiness, the bonding, the spirituality... It was just unbelievable. AND just when we thought it couldn't get any better, we had an unreal havdallah in a hidden cave in the hills of Tzfat. As our voices echoed in the walls of the cave, we could literally feel the strength of or songs and prayers.
Today we started off with a chessed project to show our support for the Israeli army by making beautiful posters, taking pictures and plan to blast all of our social media outlets to let the world know how much we love Israel and appreciate our troops. We just finished our visit to Kfar Kedem where we dressed up in ancient garb, ate kabobs, made pita and rode donkeys. It was awesome! We're now en route to a boat cruise on the Kinneret, where we will be joined by a family from the south who are excited for some much needed fun after a challenging few weeks.
We're excited for what should be another amazing week on GIVE!
We have received many inquiries regarding the free shabbos that is scheduled for this weekend. Due to the current situation, we have decided to cancel the free weekend and stay together as a group for shabbos this week. Please inform your friends and family, and we will do the same. If we are able and comfortable, we will try to reschedule the free weekend and will be in touch if that is the case.
We continue to daven for peace for all of Am Yisrael.
