Dear GIVE Parents,

Today was another great day on NCSY GIVE! We began our day with a visit to the Gush Katif Museum in the Golan and heard from an incredible woman who converted to Judaism, moved to Gush Katif, was evacuated, and is still rebuilding her life. It was so inspiring. From there we headed to Ya'ar Lavi to leave our mark on Israel by... planting trees! We hope that the trees we planted today will build strong roots in our homeland, just as we wish for ourselves and our future families. We also had a special guest visit us today from International NCSY, Keevy Fried, who is the Associate Director of NCSY. He had a chance to meet some of the girls and even had a song written about him in honor of his visit!

After tree planting, we made our way to the Kinneret for a swim. The water was just perfect and the view was spectacular. We concluded our travels with a very meaningful mincha at the grave of Rabbi Meir Ba'al HaNeis.

Tonight we enjoyed a delicious dinner followed by a rockin Zumba class that was led by two of our Chicago GIVErs. Rabbi Felberman drove all the way up to visit GIVE and have our regularly scheduled Thursday Night Mishmar, which was filled with delicious snacks, awesome Torah and a great time.

Thank Gd, we are all safe and having a wonderful day.

Wishing you a happy Thursday!

Erin and the NCSY GIVE family
