Dear NCSY GIVE Parents,

As I reflect on this past year, I can't help but think back to our incredible summer on NCSY GIVE 2016.

I feel so blessed to have been able to watch your beautiful daughters experience an exciting, educational and emotional Jewish adventure in the Holy land of Israel. Whether it was dancing with them at the Kotel, bringing smiles to the eldery, or merely witnessing a spark of inspiration ignite their souls, I am endlessly grateful and inspired. Your girls have given me and the rest of the staff such hope for the future of am yisrael, allowing us the comfort of knowing that there are empowered and proud young women prepared to lead the Jewish people.

In the Shabbos tefillos, we read, "Torah scholars increase peace in the world, as it said: 'And all your children (banayich) will be students of G-d, and your children (banayich) will have peace'- do not read this word as '(banayich) your children' rather '(bonayich) your builders'". The play on words here is that this word, "banayich", depending on the vowels used, can be read as either "your children" or "your builders". Every week when I recite this verse, I think of the campers on NCSY GIVE and all of their tremendous acts of chessed this summer. Watching as our GIVErs reached out and impacted the lives of so many, gave me the awesome realization that the words "banayich- your children" and "bonayich- your builders" really are interchangeable; our children are our builders.

May we all merit to watch these wonderful young ladies continue to evolve into excited, committed builders with Jewish pride bursting from their every act.

Wishing you and your loved ones a Happy New Year and a year filled with blessing, health, peace and endless pride from your unbelievably special girls. As always, we welcome your feedback and would love to hear how your girls are doing. Feel free to be in touch!

Shana Tova and Kesiva V'chasima Tova!
