Staff Spotlight: Margot Reinstein, Bus Head

My name is Margot Reinstein, and I love to rhyme – to laugh and to sing, all of the time. I grew up in Teaneck, and wanted to expand – so I moved for the year, to the holy land! Pursuing a masters in Jewish Ed at Hebrew U –  I’m a madricha at Midreshet Lindenbaum too. I like playing harmonica and dressing in costume – without bubbles to blow, I never leave my room. My favorite place in Israel? Don’t know if I can choose just one spot – One place though I love, is the art gallery in Tzfat! I’ll be joining the faculty at Kushner next year  – and can’t wait for the summer to GIVE and volunteer!

Letter From Future Giver

Staff Spotlight: Zahava Moskowitz

Hey guys! My name is Zahava Moskowitz and I’m going to GIVE you a little info about myself (get it?)
Growing up, I lived in Great Neck but moved a few years ago to West Hempstead. I went to Central for High school (woot woot!), MMY (yes, we will marry any guy) for seminary, and now in Queens College. Fun facts about myself: I LOVE corny jokes, the color purple, and camel rides! (Although my picture doesn’t do it justice). I’m so excited for GIVE to start and cannot wait to spend a summer with all of you! See you in the Holy Land!

Staff Spotlight: Amy Weiss

Hi! My name’s Amy Weiss and I’m from Miami, Florida. I grew up in New Jersey until I was 13, and maintain my accent while at Stern College. At Stern, I’m a major in Political Science and play for the tennis team. Alon Moreh is one of my favorite places in Israel because it is exactly the spot where Hashem commanded Avraham: “lech lecha.” On Parshas Lech Lecha, I joined the community in its shabbaton dedicated to the monumental moment in history that took place there. It is a town of people deeply committed to fulfilling the promise that Eretz Yisroel, in its entirety, will belong to the Jews. I have not been back to Israel since my seminary year, and I’m so grateful to return on a program as awesome as GIVE! I can’t wait to meet all of our GIVErs!
